Activities:
1. On the Yellow Pages website, search up "Computer Equipment Hardware" and enter in the location of Katoomba. Select the option at the top of the results page to cancel out of your results businesses that service Katoomba but are based outside of Katoomba. From the left over results select the one on Katoomba Street. The shop is called, Blue Mountains Business Machines and their contact number is 4782 2333.

2. On the Yellow Pages website, search up "florist" and in location enter "Fowler Road, Merrylands". Cancel the option of results of businesses servicing outside of the area and select the first option on Fowler Road. The shop is called, M & A Fresh Cut Flowers.

3. On the Yellow Pages website, search up "motels" and in the location bar enter, "Noosa QLD". Take out the option for businesses outside of the area and a list of available motels come up for use.

The Yellow Pages is a database as it has a collection of relevant information about businesses of a selection of categories. It allows for information to be stored, organised and used.

• Easy, simple and clear to read.
• Convenient and easy to access.
• Easy to search up what you're looking for.
• More up to date than the book.

3. Disadvantages of this electronic database;

• There is a lot of advertisements scattered around the page that may not have anything to do with what you're looking for.
• There are pages and pages or results and unless you define your search properly then you'll have to look through all of them.
• A lot of companies pay for their businesses to be listed at the top of the results page which doesn't necessarily mean that they are the best.
