~IST Internet & Website Development Assessment Plan~

In this post is my plan of what's going to be on each page of my designed website.
This blog entry may be edited to changing plans but will explain the change from the original to the new plan and the reason for it if need be.

Home Page
This page will be the default page that comes up when the site is first opened. It will contain some information on the contents of the site, a log on feature to access the contents of the site and links to each of the pages that are on the site like a site map.

About Me
This page will contain my personal profile that has a display picture and some bits of information about me. The page will also have links on the side and the bottom of the page as standard for all the pages.

Blog
On this page are my blog entries, specifically the required entry on the possible career paths that I’m willing to take in the future. As standard the page will have links to all the other pages on the left side and the bottom of the page.

Photos
This page will have an album of recent photos, each with a caption accompanying them. The files will be in a simple compressed .jpeg format. The page will have the standard links on the left and bottom of the page also.

Music
On this page there will be music tracks that can be played or downloaded as zipped files. The layout of the page should be something like a database where the album cover and song information accompanies the song. Also as standard the links on the left and bottom of the page.

Video
On this page there will be links to videos on YouTube and videos of my own on the site. Standard links will be on the left and bottom of the page for navigation.

Extras
I added in a modified cursor that applies to all pages.

In this activity we are required to have an image as the background, a text hyperlink and an image hyperlink, different font colours and a normal image.

~Term 2 Mini Project- The Presentation~

~Term 2 Mini Project- Creation of the Presentation ~

In earlier entries myself and my project partner Tatjana, have agreed on who's doing what for this project. I'm working on the presentation, and I've decided to make a video similar to the video that we had made to our previous mini project last term, just to extend the knowledge of the Internet in our class through "Routers and Servers".

I've collated all the information we need during class and I'm starting progress on the presentation which is due next lesson. Once I've finished the video I'll be sending a copy to Tatjana and it will be posted on both our blogs for marking.
