An Update on the Assessment
I haven't made a blog entry in a while about the assessment, so here's a heads up on what's happening at the moment. I'm just over half way through the assessment itself and I have all the research and contents that I want to put in ready to go. I haven't been able to put in an interactive menu with the shortage of time and one lesson being taken as I'm on a Commerce excursion, so I've been forced to go with the links, but if I have time to put in an interactive menu then I will, other wise I'll just make another page with interactive menus after the submission of the assessment and leave it on my blog, just to show I know how to use them. I also need to construct the storyboard of the whole site.
Knowing myself I should have finished the assessment by now but the codes I'm using are a little more complex and I was going to initially do. I'm keeping all the ages uniform to one theme with the same background image, background song, fonts and font colours and sizes.
Whilst making progress in class we use Microsoft Frontpage 2003, but on my computer at home I have Microsoft Sharepoint Designer 2007, though I've chosen not to use it and explore alternatives instead. We were given PageBreeze to use at home but I've used another WYSIWYG program similar to PageBreeze and an alternate to Frontpage, which I find isn't as easy to use, called KompoZer. I had only used KompoZer for part of the assessment as there were issues sourcing images when using KompoZer at home and Frontpage at school.
Here are screen shots of how I'm going so far;
